It looks ok. I'm probably about halfway there, I'll link you to my post when I'm finished. This link from the Colette Anise sewalong might help:
http://www.sewalongs.com/anise/anise-lining
The first couple of instructions under "Assemble the lining" there are about making the pleat in the lining. I made an Anise earlier this year so remembered making the pleat then and I just did the same on my Malu and it worked fine. Hope that helps and that your Malu is going well! xRuth - Nightingale and Dolittlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06598582222979563780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7492251489122148012.post-72970231874702495362014-11-01T20:56:31.190+00:002014-11-01T20:56:31.190+00:00Hi, Love your jacket and the fabric! I can see the marks on the pattern, but no other clues how to do them. Can you help? If you're thinking of making a coat, I think this one is a good one to start with - it's simpler than lots of coat/jacket patterns but still looks quite professional.Ruth - Nightingale and Dolittlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06598582222979563780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7492251489122148012.post-17239121300873633972014-10-24T22:52:43.663+01:002014-10-24T22:52:43.663+01:00Thank you! I was surprised by how quick it was to sew as well - I do think it's quite easy as coat patterns go though so that's probably why. Ooooh, that coat sounds like it would be lovely - I hope you get time to make it soon!Ruth - Nightingale and Dolittlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06598582222979563780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7492251489122148012.post-41402920350931563112014-10-24T22:48:51.850+01:002014-10-24T22:48:51.850+01:00Thank you! And as always I love your fabric choice :) I bought some wool in pink/cream herringbone to make the 1960s GBSB coat. The only problem is I don't have much sewing time at the moment so it might become a spring coat.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13008177057730600352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7492251489122148012.post-50412573484650226462014-10-23T18:58:54.784+01:002014-10-23T18:58:54.784+01:00Oh my word! The buttons are fab...(and don't knitting stores have the best buttons!)...buttons can really make or break a garment, and your choice is excellent! I'm just beginning a Minoru jacket, and the weather is cooperating admirably with periods of rain mixed with showers!Sue @ A Colourful Canvashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15509898677660889672noreply@blogger.com
